Water reflections are filled with symbolism. They can mirror or distort the truth, depending on how peaceful the water is. Water reflections can also be interpreted as thoughts on the subject of water. The Freshwater Reflections exhibition combines my paintings with poems written by Lindsay Brant frorm Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Inspired by the beauty of Lake Ontario, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the importance of clean water for life and for everyone.
